We have spent a lot of time here, fishing, walking the trails and peaking over at the Pearl River watching Alligators stalk prey! It's a beautiful spot! (Includes a couple of playgrounds) And you can walk from here to the Natural Science and Children's museums.
LeFleur's Bluff State Park is a public recreation area located on the banks of the Pearl River off Interstate 55 within the city limits of Jackson, Mississippi. The state park is home to a 50-acre lake, a 9-hole golf course, and the Mississippi Museum of Natural Science. Wikipedia
It's a lovely place if you want to be alone and look at some water or just need a long walk to think or with that special someone. I go here and meditate when I'm feeling low. Beautiful views.
